DSi Flash Cards

Nintendo DSi Rom Backup Tool Review

TTDSi – DSiTT for Nintendo DSi

And out of nowhere comes a surprise from NDSTT com  team in a form of a new Nintendo DSi Flash Card called TTDSi (or TopToy DSi) for playing nds roms on the NDSi.

DSiTT TTDSi

This card also known as DSiTT will work similar to AceKard 2i and so it will let you play your legally and illegally acquired game backups aka NDS Roms on the new Nintendo DSi portable that is not compatible with older NDS / DS Lite flash cards like DSTT or Acekard. Also the is no information if this card will be able to help us play DSi only games for free but it does support DS WiFi game, DS Rumble Pak, Opera Browser, Action Replay cheat codes that you can edit in code base.

I heard the card can not be updated with new firmware… and it won’t function anymore after one update from Nintendo. You know more about that?

Marlovely

too early to say if it is true or not that update could make it incompatible. could be that Acekard 2i team is behind these rumors :)

hi, i just brought the new nintendo dsi am i able to use my old TTDS card on the machine or will i ve beeding to buy this bew TTDSi card?
please reply asap

TTDS works on NDS and DS Lite but in the new DSi which has an updated firmware (different from DS Lite) the card will NOT load, so yes you need to buy TTDSi (with the ‘i’) version in order to use it on the DSi.

Also I would suggest you take a look at the AceKard 2i – I like it even better than TTDSi

I received the all new ndstti today, loaded it with the software needed and it works!
However i dont really see what all the fuss was about the ndsi ,its a bit wider?

I love this new card. This is the best one no doubt.

Guys the update is not going to stop this card from working. Maybe in future updates, but not this one.

hi, my ndstti card will only load zelda now and the other 30 games now freeze when booting, benn ok for a month….not sure if the dsi has performed an update in the background and blocked it? but then why would only 1 game still work???

  DSi Flash Cards wrote @

DSi NEVER does any updates without asking you first to confirm it, so the problem is NOT with the DSi, but more likely with the microSD card – could be that it is partially corrupted. I suggest you backup the save games to PC – reformat the card, and copy back good nds rom files and your save game to the card.

Hey is the dstti compatible with the Australian ds?

  DSi Flash Cards wrote @

All DSi flash cards are currently compatible with ALL region consoles.

And DS has never had PAL / NTSC display formats – all are the same – just the firmware in regions varies a little, language options etc.

I prefer R4i SDHC cards they are compatible with HC cards and the new Nintendo DSi too. and they are pretty handy too.

Hey if i buy a Dsi from japan and get an AceKard 2i or a DsTTi card, can i change the menu language to english? or can i only play the games in english? i know the AceKard 2i menu can be in english but what about the Dsi’s menu? Can that be changed to english with the flashcard? And will the Opera browser for internet surfing be in english?

  R4 Cards wrote @

I think you should be able to do that, I would recommend making sure with the seller before you buy.

I’m thinking about doing the same thing Jon, I’m off to Hong Kong next month and i’m thinking of buying a DSI, if the method you mention works then i might get a few for family and friends :-)

I was using the ttdsi card with no problems until today. I did the update of the system and then the system shows “An error has ocurred. Press and hold the power button to turn the system off. Please see the Nintendo dsi Operations Manual for help troubleshooting”. Is there any other file I can use to be able to use the card again? I know the card still working on the DS Lite so there is nothing wrong with the card.

Hi i just got a TTDSI and i was wondering how can i update my TTDSI so it works on firmware 1.4 ….. i accidentaly updated my dsi without knowing that the TTDSI wouldnt work afterwards !!!!

Like some of the other can you update it through the TTDSI or do you have to do it by computor?

Also is there a team working on to fix this problem or do i have to buy a new card?
